Carpool Instructions
Dear Parents,
Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our students safe and our carpool line running smoothly. For the safety of everyone, please review and follow these key procedures.
Carpool Lane & Parking
The front of the school and the south parking lot are the designated areas for student drop-off and pick-up. If you choose to park in the north lot, you must walk your child into or out of the school and use the sidewalks. For your child's safety, please hold their hand. The north parking lot is primarily for staff and buses and is not to be used for drop-offs or pick-ups.
Carpool Drop-Off & Pick-Up Procedures
- Morning Drop-Off: Please pull as far forward as possible in one single file line at the front of the school. This helps the line move more efficiently for everyone. We appreciate your kindness and courtesy toward our staff who are there to help.
- Afternoon Pick-Up: When in the carpool lane, please line up single file and stay to the left of the yellow line painted along the curb. This ensures a clear and safe path for students to enter vehicles. Once your child is in your car, you can pull out and around other vehicles so others can continue to move forward in the line. To keep the flow of traffic moving, parking in the loading/unloading zone is not permitted during before and after school.
Important Safety Rules
- Speed Limit: For the safety of our students and staff, please slow down. The speed limit in the parking lot and loading zone is 5 miles per hour.
- U-Turns: Please do not make U-turns on the road directly in front of the school. If you are coming from the north, please continue around the block once your student has been dropped off.
Your cooperation is essential. Please share this information with anyone who may be picking up your children. We appreciate your partnership in making our school a safe place for everyone.
Sincerely,
Principal Hull
