2025-26 TSSA Plan
Millville Elementary 2025-2026
Millville Elementary will focus on three goals for the upcoming school year.
Goal #1:
By May 2026 Millville School will conduct a student Well-being Screener in grades K-6 for Fall, Winter and Spring to assist with identifying students who may benefit from behavioral or social/emotional support.
Category:
Learning and Growth, Systems
Measurements:
The screener will enable us to identify at-risk students and provide them with support. As we compare the screener results from fall to winter and winter to spring, we will determine the effectiveness of our school counselor presentations and individual student support. The number of referrals to the school counselor will also be monitored.
Action Plan:
- Screener will be reviewed by the principal and school counselor to identify students who may have elevated risk for internalizing or externalizing factors that impact school academic achievement, attendance, behavior, social-emotional wellness or mental health.
- Our counselor will consult with grade level PLC teams and individual teachers to determine appropriate tier one support in the general classroom as well as throughout the school.
- Teachers and our counselor may consult with the school TAG team to plan targeted tier two and tier three interventions to address concerning areas.
Budget Amount:
$24,280
Goal #2:
Students will score 70% or better on their grade level math assessments through Tier 1, 2 & 3 instruction.
Category:
Learning and Growth
Measurements:
Paraprofessionals will assist teachers and students to increase mastery of curriculum standards in both regular education and special education settings. Students will be assessed both formally and informally by their classroom teacher and/or paraprofessional to determine academic progress.
Action Plan:
- By purchasing student licenses for the math program iReady MyPath, we will be able to provide students with individualized instruction and intervention support.
- Additionally, new laptops will be purchased for teachers to assist with math support.
Budget Amount:
$7,405
Goal #3:
Students will score 70% or better on their grade level reading assessments through Tier 1, 2, and 3 instruction.
Category:
Learning and Growth
Measurements:
Paraprofessionals will assist teachers and students to increase mastery of curriculum standards in both regular education and special education settings. Students will be assessed both formally and informally by their classroom teacher and/or paraprofessional to determine academic progress. Grade level PLC's will be utilized to analyze data to determine specific needs for each student.
Action Plan:
- We will hire paraprofessionals as needed to meet demand for small group instruction. Staff will monitor progress and needs monthly throughout the year. Success will be realized as these students demonstrate academic growth.
- Subs will be provided throughout the year to support teachers in their PLC efforts through set aside time to meet as grade level teams.
- The paraprofessionals will provide support in core instruction to our highest need classes as well as support student's IEP goals through special education.
- Training will also be provided to support behavior needs as they arise.
- Schoolwide, we will have a One Book, One School family engagement activity where everyone will read the same book and celebrate that experience with daily questions and class activities.
- A family literacy night will culminate this project and provide a home to school connection with parents.
- Additionally, we will purchase needed reading curriculum and other supports for our literacy and math efforts.
Budget Amount:
